From Osaka / Kyoto (Approx. 3 to 3.5 hours)

By Train: Take the Limited Express "Super Hakuto" from Osaka or Kyoto Station directly to JR Kurayoshi Station.
- Note: From Kurayoshi Station, take a local bus or taxi to the Misasa Onsen area (approx. 20 minutes).
By Highway Bus: Direct highway buses (Nihon Kotsu) run from Osaka (Umeda/Namba) to Kurayoshi and Misasa. It takes about 3.5 hours.
By Car: Take the Chugoku Expressway and Tottori Expressway via the Sayo Junction. It is about a 3-hour drive.

From Tokyo (Approx. 3 hours including flight)

By Air (Fastest Way): Fly from Haneda Airport to Tottori Sand Dunes Conan Airport (approx. 75 minutes).
From the Airport: Take the "Limousine Bus" to JR Kurayoshi Station (45 mins), then transfer to a local bus for Misasa Onsen.

From Hiroshima (Approx. 3 to 4 hours)

By Train: Take the Shinkansen to Okayama Station, then transfer to the Limited Express "Super Inaba" to Tottori Station. From Tottori, take a local train or Limited Express to Kurayoshi Station.
By Car: Drive north via the Okayama Expressway and Yonago Expressway.

Pro-Tip for Travelers: Misasa Onsen is famous for its "Kawara-buro," an open-air public bath located right on the riverbank. It is free and open 24 hours, but please note it is very exposed—swimsuits are allowed (and recommended for beginners)! Also, many hotels in Misasa offer complimentary shuttle buses from Kurayoshi Station, so remember to book yours in advance.
